Academic Divisions
We are committed to supporting and guiding students to reach their educational goals. If you have questions about our programs or seek assistance, we are here to serve you.
Delta College is organized into five different academic divisions. Those divisions are divided into separate areas of expertise -- disciplines. Each division is led by an Associate Dean who coordinates all administrative, curricular, assessment and evaluation activities.
Arts and Letters
Learn about the values of cultures, about how to read deeply and conduct meaningful inquiry, about what goes into making works of art, and about how to express ourselves clearly and effectively in different mediums. Courses offered through the Arts and Letters Division provide the ideal foundation for exploring and understanding the human experience.

Social Sciences
We foster the critical thinking abilities of students by providing opportunities to ask questions, examine evidence, analyze assumptions and biases, and consider other perspectives and interpretations. We strive for students to apply this knowledge and these skills to their lives particularly when considering current and historical social concepts and issues.
