Alternative Breaks

Delta College's Alternative Breaks program provides numerous opportunities for students to learn more about themselves, others and the world around them. This program is designed to encourage personal growth, create leadership opportunities, promote civic engagement and create opportunities for you to think outside of the box. You will come home every year with new friends and a new community of people that share a common life changing experience!

Upcoming trips

Our upcoming alternative break will take place in Puerto Rico in March 2027. This trip does not require a passport as this is a US Territory.

Cost to participate

The Alternative Breaks Group fundraise during the fall semester and the winter semester to pay for each team member to go on the trip. The trip costs depend on the destination. These funds go to pay for transportation, food and lodging. The students will need to bring money for any souvenirs that they will want.
